It is probably engineered for mixing it in cocktails. There is nothing wrong with that, it is just that it does not offer much pleasure neat.<br /><br />An equally priced, and, in my opinion, much better, maltier, honey/citrus like, and neatly sippable whiskey, is Paddy.
